Prison Recidivism FY2022

Recidivism is defined as the act of an individual leaving prison for parole, special sentence, work release or discharge, and is then returned to prison within three years for any reason.  The findings based on those released from prison in FY2019 shows a 37 percent recidivism or a decrease by 2.6 percent over two years.
