Prison inmate Dennis Meyer dies

CORALVILLE – Dennis Ray Meyer was pronounced dead due to a medical emergency (not COVID-19-related) at the Iowa Medical and Classification Center on Saturday, July 25. Meyer was 70 years old at the time of his death.
Meyer had been serving a 25-year sentence for the crime of Sexual Abuse 2nd Degree (709.3) from Page County. His sentence began on April 16, 2007.
