Prison Inmate Simon Tunstall Dies
CORALVILLE – Simon Curtis Tunstall was pronounced dead due to natural causes at approximately 11:14 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2022 while in hospice at the Iowa Medical and Classification Center where he had been housed due to chronic illness. Tunstall was 66 years old at the time of his death.
Tunstall had been serving a life sentence for the crime of Murder 1st Degree from Woodbury County. His sentence began on March 31, 1987.
