Iowa Corrections offers a competitive salary and benefits in comparison to other public employment and other state corrections departments. Starting salaries often begin around $40,000 per year, with the opportunity for yearly increases. You will also have the opportunity to receive training that will allow you to advance in your profession, and as you do, be compensated accordingly.
