Achieving Change Through Value-Based Behavior (ACTV) |
---|
ACTV is a 24-session treatment program specifically designed for domestic violence offenders and satisfies the requirements for persons who have been court ordered to a domestic violence program. The curriculum utilizes components of Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) by working with offenders in order to increase their awareness of the factors that influence their behavior, and learn new workable behaviors that are consistent with their values. |
Employment Group |
---|
Employment Group is a 10-week course designed to enable offenders the ability to job search appropriate to their skills, experience, and ability, fill out applications, effectively interview and follow up in obtaining and maintaining employment. |
Moving On |
---|
Moving On is a 24-session program designed to provide women in the corrections system with alternatives and choices free from criminal activity. Participants learn to identify and mobilize personal and community resources. The group is facilitated by corrections employees and/or Batterers’ Education Program facilitators. |
Sex Offender Treatment Program |
---|
The Sex Offender Treatment Program is designed to reduce the risk of re-offense by specifically addressing the harm to the victim of sexual abuse and teaching abusers how to control their deviant behavior through relapse prevention planning and other methods. The group is open-ended and completion depends upon the individual’s progress rather than any set time. Psychosexual assessments and the results of polygraph examinations are used to supplement the information known about offenders and to measure progress in treatment. All services (group facilitation, psychosexual assessments and polygraphs) are provided by corrections employees. |
Qualifying offenders can report changes when they occur by sending an email to their case manager. Send an email ONLY if there are changes to the items listed here, or if you feel you have completed all requirements of probation. To report changes, send an email to your specific case manager noting your name and any changes.
