The Victim Wrap Around Program (VWA) is a safety planning service designed to support victims and their families by addressing safety concerns related to an incarcerated individual鈥檚 pending release from custody or those already on community supervision.

The purpose of a VWA is to develop a safety plan that includes input from the victim, victim鈥檚 family, potentially friends or co-workers, law enforcement, victim advocate, and DOC case managers. The VWA is confidential and held virtually to ensure accessibility for all participants. The offender is NOT involved in the VWA and will NOT be informed of any details related to the safety plan.
