MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa – John Henry Epps was pronounced dead at 11:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025 at the Hospice Room of the Mount Pleasant Correctional Facility. Epps was 67 years old at the time of his death.
Epps had been serving a life term for crimes from Black Hawk County. His sentence began on April 4, 1981.
