IOWA CITY, Iowa – Steven Dorell Lard was pronounced dead at 1:47 a.m. on Monday, July 14, 2025 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. Lard was 46 years old at the time of his death.
Lard had been serving for crimes from Linn County. His sentence began on Oct. 4, 2024.
