CORALVILLE, Iowa – John Sherman Pardee was pronounced dead at 7:18 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025 in the infirmary of the Iowa Medical and Classification Center. Pardee was 68 years old at the time of his death.
Pardee had been serving for crimes from Scott County. His sentence began on Nov. 16, 2000.
