MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa – The Iowa Department of Corrections (DOC) and the Mount Pleasant Correctional Facility (MPCF) are suspending all in-person visitation in the main building, effective immediately.
Please be advised of the following:
- Duration: This suspension will remain in effect until further notice from the Iowa DOC.
- Alternative Communication: To ensure you remain connected with your families, access to video visitation will remain available according to the standard schedule at both locations.
- MLO Facility: All in-person visits at the MLO facility will continue according to the schedule.
The DOC and MPCF appreciates the public’s patience and understanding at this time.
